Safe Events is the event-production company behind the Qatar Balloon Festival, the Visit Qatar Kite Festival, the Lusail Sky Festival and the Lantern Festival. Since 2019 our team has safely welcomed more than half a million visitors to open-air events across Qatar.

Born from the events we built.

Safe Events grew out of Safe Flight Solutions, an aviation consultancy founded in Doha in 2005. In 2019 we moved from advising on flight safety to producing the events ourselves, and the name says what we care about most: every spectacle is planned, permitted and run with safety first.

Today we deliver large-scale public festivals end to end: concept, government permits and airspace clearance, site build, international performers, ticketing and marketing. Our festivals have become fixtures in Qatar's winter calendar and now travel beyond it.

Headquartered in Qatar, we work with Visit Qatar, Qatar Tourism, Katara Cultural Village and leading brands to turn open spaces into unforgettable nights.

Festival production

Multi-day public festivals from a blank site: concept, layout, fencing and crowd flow, staging, F&B zones, security and daily operations for audiences above 100,000.

Aerial shows & airspace

Hot air balloon mass ascensions, aerobatic teams, paramotor formations, skydivers with flags, drone light shows and pyrotechnics, with the permits and air-safety management handled by us.

Balloon branding

Qatar's exclusive hot air balloon operator since 2019. Branded envelopes and tethered helium balloons that put a logo in the sky for Visit Qatar, Vodafone, Dukhan Bank, Doha Festival City and more.

Illuminated art & lanterns

Ground-based lantern walks across 30,000 sq m with large glowing art structures, produced with specialist lantern makers. No open flames, no airspace needed.

Ticketing & digital

Online ticketing, POS hardware and campaign execution through our platform Asfary.com, which has sold well over 10,000 experience tickets for our events.

Franchise & knowledge transfer

Proven event formats licensed to partners in the GCC: we bring the blueprint, physical assets and operating playbook; the local partner brings the ground.
